Postive Thought - Take Time To Support Others

Greetings!

I am developing a new workshop titled, “How to Keep a Positive Mindset in Negative Times”, specifically to help individuals and organizations in times like these. Between the economic meltdown and the election, it seems nothing positive is happening. Gratefully, that’s just not true. It’s just that the stuff that’s negative is the loudest. Now is a time for us to reconnect with our inherent good. It’s time to pay attention to the stuff that’s just as important, just not as loud. To paraphrase Gandhi, we need to be the joy we hope to find in this world. Spend the next week attending to the things that get drowned out. Do simple things like, reading positive and uplifting material (turn off the negativity), watch a sunset or a sunrise; play with your children or grandchildren (if you don’t have any, go find a volunteer opportunity). There are dozens of things we can accomplish everyday to CHANGE OUR FOCUS!!!!!

Positive Thought of the Week:
I will take time everyday to support others. I will not let the drums of negativity overwhelm the quiet melody of joy. I will actively pursue giving and receiving love and forgiveness. I will seek and find a quiet place to reflect on the joys that surround me constantly. I will be the joy I wish to find.

Business Thought of the Week:
I will remember that jobs don’t have a future; I am the one who has a future. What am I doing today to make tomorrow more successful? Am I becoming someone I can be proud of?

I am off to Kansas City on Tuesday for a conference on Maximizing the Value of Your Business. It seems to be a popular subject these days.

Have a great week. Spread the word.
