Greetings!

I guess if you live long enough, you find very similar events happening around you. This economic recession is very similar to the one that hit me very directly in 1991. January of 91 is when my Gift of Desperation hit and everything I thought was important to me was taken away. I thought my life was over. I have since learned a very important lesson, just because I think it, doesn’t make it so. Since then I have celebrated twenty-two years of marriage, watched my family expand with two sons-in-law and three (fourth on the way) grandkids, watched my girls grow into dynamic women, my son grow into a great young man, and I have started and built four new companies. That’s a lot for a guy who thought his life was over. I guess I meant my old life was over and for that I will be eternally grateful.

Positive Thought of the Week:
I am in the right place, at the right time, whether I know it or not. I create a positive life regardless of my circumstances. I can find the good or the bad in any situation; it only depends on what I am looking for. Anything I can conceive, I can achieve, as long as I am filled with love, forgiveness and gratitude.

Business Thought of the Week:

This week my success is assured. I will focus on everyone around me and work to make sure they succeed at all they do. In that way, my success is assured.

I am in the office working on the new series of articles for the Business Journal. I have three new talks to give in January. With the economy being weak, people are really looking to find ways to enhance sales, profits and morale. The Daily Six when applied individually and organizationally creates just the right atmosphere for the positive, calm and balanced mindset to reduce stress, build trust and strengthen relationships so needed today.
